A Fine Fleece - Available from April 8, 2008

After more than two years in the making, A Fine Fleece is here. Those of you who are non-spinners and spinning hopefuls will glean useful tips and information on working with various animal fibers, and how looking at the yarn itself will change your perspective on your knitting. Whether you're working with commercial yarns, minimally processed farm yarns, or handspun, understanding the individuality of a yarn is key to the success of a pleasurable knitting experience.

In addition, the designs are a reflection on the aesthetic values I hold most dear, including the playfulness of light and shadow, scale and portraying emotion in garment design. I hope that all knitters will be intrigued by gaining more control over their knitting by designing and spinning yarn, and spinners are sure to think about their knitting in a different way.
